Those magical Sirocco Club nights that brought so many
dancers together for over five years have come to an end.
In the early years of the Sirocco Club, proceeds from Sirocco belly dancing events were mainly used for sponsoring little Sylvie Koumakang, through a World Vision project in Chad. Although Sirocco Club nights ended three years ago I continued this support but now Sylvie’s community has made such good progress that World Vision is moving on to more needy areas. Sylvie has sent a letter of farewell and thanks to all those who contributed over the years.
Although the Sirocco Club is no more, the Sirocco site will continue to focus on dancers and dance events, particularly those that support charities.
The website will also contain promotional material for my own Arabian Nights Dancers including the Rockingham based Sirocco Dancers
